| PROJECT: Maintenance of all Entertainment venues on the TUI Travel estate: our team of maintenance engineers looks after 59 hotels - visiting most of them once every month, during the summer season. To service this contract requires up to 102 engineer working days and 30 international flights per month. Systems Design & Installation: TEDAV writes the minimum technical specifications for TUI group Entertainment venues. Our designers visit all new hotel venues to design suitable systems, which our engineers duly supply and install - then maintain. Sound & Light Technicians: We have around 35 full-time technicians working overseas for the summer season - running the sound and light presentations for hotel Entertainment programmes. All formally trained at technical colleges and / or drama schools, many of these technicians go on to work in senior technical posts elsewhere in the industry. Training: TEDAV devises and delivers a full technical training programme for all TUI Entertainment staff during a ten-day residential course each spring. We build a number of fully-functioning Entertainment venues, each designed to enable hands-on practical training in live sound and lighting operation. | PROJECT: Maintenance of all Entertainment venues on the Park Resorts estate: our teams of maintenance engineers look after a total of 75 venues, providing each with a pre-season and post-season service call. We also design and install sound, lighting and AV systems into new and refurbishing venues. In 2011, we fitted-out the new Entertainment venue at Bideford Bay Holiday Park. | |
